Allied Steel Medal Display Review & Giveaway

After I recently shared my updated workout space (HERE), and how I display all of my race bibs and running memorabilia, several of you commented that you have all of your bibs and medals either stored: a) in a Ziplock baggie in your bedside drawer or hanging, or b) hanging from your rearview mirror in you minivan!

Wouldn’t you love to have a unique way to display your accomplishments … proudly?!?

Well, look no further than Allied Steel’s Medal Displays (out of Redmond, WA). You can check out their online catalog (HERE)

Starting at $39.00, these displays are a reasonable way to display your awesome accomplishments. They have several displays that are distance-specific as well as targeted towards female athletes (think tiaras!). Of course, I love that they offer pink as an option, too!

Sizes of the displays vary, depending on what display (or the number of characters) you order. But, with a display like this, it looks like I’m going to have to run a lot more races and obtain some new hardware!!!

Allied Steel had let me know that they were sending me a display to review, but I was shocked to open up the huge box to see this custom Running Diva Mom number!! You can get your custom display, too!!

This display was very easy-to-assemble/display and is a fun, personalized way to display my medals. There is spot at the center of the display to affix it further to the wall, but our frames just don’t allow it. I just wish our basement area was finished. Our current situation just doesn’t do this baby justice. It doesn’t like quite as cool against the insulation. Maybe I just need more medals, to cover up what’s behind it?!

I was able to display eleven medals on it and still have room. I have two more pretty medals, but display them on my bookshelf, along with race photos.

2010 Disney Princess Half Marathon

2008 Bank of American Chicago Marathon

If you’re interested in getting a little something for your child’s bedroom, they offer displays for other sports, such as soccer and cheerleading.

Their most popular display is a Marathon (Dual Runners) display. It is their non-gender specific marathon display, which has runners on both sides. The display is laser cut from heavy-gauge brushed stainless steel for a smooth, grained finish.

Allied Steel is giving you the chance to win this cute Runner Girl medal display (in pink, of course!).
