Running tires HIM out, too !!

Little Dude and I spent the morning hitting garage sales with my neighbor. I ended up with a full, studly wordrobe for him for next year and some great blingy and animaly print numbers for Little Diva! Brought $50 and came home with a ten dollar bill!! Score!! Success!!

I had a lot of errands to run this afternoon, before we had to pick Little Diva up for school. I also had four miles to get in with Little Dude as my running partner. I decided to change into my running clothes and load the Little Red Car into the Marathon Mommy Minivan. We ran our errands and parked at Little Diva's school. The neighborhood park and a nice pedestrian path is located right there. So, we set off ... me, Little Dude, and The Little Red Car.

About 12 minutes into our run, we were running on the path, along a very busy highway. I looked down and Little Dude's head was bobbing to the left and to the right. He had rested his feet up on the "dashboard" and was O-U-T!! I couldn't get him to lay his head down on his arms (over the steering wheel). So, his had bobbed and bounced for the next 28 minutes.

So many people driving past us stared and pointed, like it was a motor vehicle accident or something?! I ran faster and faster, just so that we could get back to Little Diva's school.

I always knew that running was a good workout, and exhausting at times ... But, apparently it tires HIM out, too!

How did YOU fit
it all in today ?!?!

  1. That cracks me up that he rides in the little car while you run and fell asleep. Kendall almost always falls asleep in the jogger when Dwight runs with her, but I imagine that's a bit more comfortable for sleeping than the little red car!

  2. I am amazed that you can run pushing that instead of a jogger! Such a sweet picture.

  12. Cute! That is something my youngest could easily have done; he still sleeps anywhere if there is motion involved.

  16. Ahhh I love the planners. Not sure I love the price but they are super cute! I was just thinking last week that I must be one of the few people that has not gone digital with their calendars. I do digital version for my fiancée but keep a little mini calendar in my purse with all my appointments. I had client call the other day. We started talking possible dates for a family shoot and I had to run down stairs to get my little hand held calendar. There's just something about doing a few things the old way. I still use address book as well. My fiancée keeps telling me I need to start keeping track in an online address book.....no thanks!

The pictures of you little one gave me a chuckle

Ps...Thank you for your VERY sweet comment on my fall mantel. Oh and I’m going to become a fan on your facebook page as well!
