I was sent the momAgenda Desktop Planner for 2010-2011 (HERE) ... in the fabulous zebra print. momAgenda also offers six other fabulous colors (including pink!).
I love that they also offer personalization for $4.95 (You know how I love personalization!).
At $43.00, the pricetag is a little steep compared to what I'm use to dishing out each fall, for next year's planner. But, it may be worth the extra pennies, just to keep you and your family organized. This baby is filled with tons and tons of space, spots for you "list-makers", and tips and resources.
Features of the 2010-2011 momAgenda Desktop:
- Unique week-at-a-view format with space for mom and up to four children. Features monthly views too.
- 17-month calendar runs from August 2010 through December 2011.
- Featuring the momEssentials pamphlet that can be removed and reused from year to year.
- Built-in ribbon bookmark
- Size: 7"x9"x1".
I am use to throwing my planner into my purse or diaper bag, so that I can add appointments or notes to it while I'm out and about. The Desktop Planner is a bit heavy and on the bulky side. I don't think I'll be able to throw it in my purse, without adding too much weight. That's the own downfall I can see to staying so organized with my momAgenda.
Each week is shown Monday through Sunday.
There are three sections for each day.
First section is the "standard" area for yourself. You can list your appointments and there is a separate area for weekly reminders to yourself.
The second section is for up to four children. This is my favorite section! You can list appointments, sports, activities, playdates, errands that need to be done for the kids, field trips, special dress-up days at school, days when a sack lunch or class snack need to be packed, reminders for lunch or field trip money, notes for transitioning to new rooms at daycare, reminders to follow-up with the teacher on something, notes to return things to the library, etc. These are just the few ideas I came up with you -- I'm sure you mommies have many more things you could list here!
The third section is for dinner and meal planning. You can list what your family will be eating each evening. You can "map out" when your family will be eating at home and when you'll need to make a meal. You can plan your meals and save money doing it!
There are so many other sections to thie momAgenda, other than the calendar: Places to note books, movies, music, fashion, restaurants, wines, gift giving, health, fitness, entertaining resources, vacation planning, party planning, medical information (divided by adults and children), addresses, birthdays, websites/passwords.
