Quest Nutrition (HERE) contacted me about their Protein Bars and Peanut Butter Cups. Sign me up! I received a 11 Flavor Sampler Pack (HERE) and a box of Peanut Butter Cups (HERE).
Some of my favorite flavors were PB&J, Apple Pie, Cinnamon Roll and Peanut Butter Pie. They had many other flavors to try, but these were my favorites - many so different than what I usually have before a workout.
But, Coconut Cashew was one of the best bars I have ever tried. I honestly had to email my contact at Quest Nutrition right away to let her know how awesome it was. I love coconut and this bar was sinful! If you like Mounds Bars - these taste just as good, but are a healthy and filling alternative. Not to disappoint.
I have kept these in my desk drawer and have been sampling them before a lunchtime run or before the end of the workday, when I need to head out to a coaching session. The help fill me up, but don't make me feel stuffed, like a meal wood. They also satisfy my sweet tooth. They are a heavier consistency, similar to Powerbar. I hate it when you waste the calories and money on an energy/protein bar and it leaves you hungry, as if you ate nothing.
The kids tried the strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter flavors before a family trip to basketball practice, when we didn't have time to grab dinner. They both liked them, but said they couldn't finish them. They left half for later. A great two-time snack option.

240 calories - 20 g protein - retails for $37.49 for a box of twelve (24 cups)
I enjoyed these, those the aren't similar in taste to the sweet Reeses Peanut Butter Cups you are use to. The consistency is the same, but the PB isn't quite as sweet. I could eat them before a workout. But, my kids who are huge PB fans, couldn't down them before we went to the gym one night. I enjoyed mine and have had a few packs here and there before workouts. And they also satisfied my sweet tooth. Though I will not give up Reeses PB cups. They didn't fill me up the same way the bars did, but were a nice alternative to the bar variety.
