Ten is the smallest noncototient, a number that cannot be expressed as the difference between any integer and the total number of coprimes below it.
In blackjack, the Ten, Jack, Queen and King are all worth 10 points.
So …. What does all of this mean?!?!?
In honor of October 10, 2010, I’ll be he hosting a 10/10/10 10K Virtual Race. Whether you are training for a fall marathon, looking for some motivation after racing season or are just competitive (you know who you are …), I hope that you will join me.

I am in!
ReplyDeleteI am in for Oct 9th. I can make it part of my last long training run for my Half Marathon on 10/16!
ReplyDeleteI'm in! That will be perfect I have a 6-miler on my schedule for the week before my half!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO in. I could use some speed work before the Philly Marathon in November! And I like a little friendly competition.
ReplyDeleteI am in! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm in!
ReplyDeleteSince I'm registered for a half-marathon on 10/10/10, I'll incorporate a 10K into it! Just post a reminder because October is a long ways off.
ReplyDeleteI'm running the Tufts 10K for Women on 10/11 - it will be my first 10K! Can I double dip and count it?
ReplyDeleteThat should give me plenty of time to recover from my marathon. :-) I hope I win the 'crazy pregnant lady runs a 10K' award.
ReplyDeleteWell, I love to do it BUT 10/10/10 is the Chicago Marathon, so I will be running a 10K and more. Does that count? I have a 6mile run schdueled for 9/29 .
ReplyDeleteI wish everyone the best of luck!!!!
i have my first marathon that same day...so I will definitely be doing a 10K!!
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome! I'm totally in...if I remember to do it! Oct. is sooo far away! :)
ReplyDeleteim in! im in!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in. It'll be a good distance run between two halfs I have that month.
ReplyDeleteI want to commit, but as you know, I have not worked back up to 6.2 miles yet after my knee surgery. So, my question is.....Can I commit to 2 5K's in that same time span....Not too worried about the time cuz I definately wont be the fastest anyway, but would love to challenge myself to run 3.1 twice because I think I'll be able to run that far by then.....Let me know what you think. If I miraculously rev up my miles to 6.2 by then ( but really don't think that's doable) I'll do the 10K.
ReplyDeleteI am totally in! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI'm In:) My first virtual race!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely like to sign up- this will be my first virtual race, and my first 10K. I will also most likely be doing it on a cruise ship jogging track :)!
ReplyDeleteOooh, count me in! Thanks for the hook up! I like for us crazy Mom's on the "run" that we have a window to get in our race. Fun!
ReplyDeleteIf I am running in a half marathon relay (so it is 6.55 miles) can that count?? I am trying to get my husband hooked to run with me - so he is running the relay with me!! :) It is on 10/3/10... Of course maybe if we are energized and insane he will run again with me on 10/10... hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteCount me in! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in! I'll be in Chicago cheering on my sister for the Chicago Marathon that weekend, so I probably won't do it then, but I'll be sure to get it in the weekend before!
ReplyDeleteI'm in.
ReplyDeleteI am in!

ReplyDeleteI am in. Actually running a pumpkin fest 10k!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely in...1 week post-marathon!
ReplyDeleteTrack Coach is a go! Question... I see I am the only non-female on the list, am I still allowed to race? I would be happy to do it regardless of the opportunity for prizes (although I think I should definitely be eligible for the race bib contest...).
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo, count me in!
ReplyDeleteI'm in!! Excellent idea!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun--count me in!
ReplyDeleteI'm in! I thought I had signed up for this....but that might have been on the "to do" list that never gets done :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in. I have already signed up for a 10k on 10/9/10, so this works perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI'm in - I have a 5k on 10/2 and on 10/9.

ReplyDeleteI'm in! I'll be running my first marathon on 10.10.10 (Victoria, BC) so I'll have 4 x 10k splits to give you! Can't imagine that I'll win fastest time, but my shot at the random draw is as good as everyone else's. :)
ReplyDeleteI am totally in!!! Yay!!
ReplyDeleteCount me in! I might be doing a 10 miler (or 10K) race with the local running club on 10/10/10.
