Hi all! I miss bloggy world and catching up on all of your fabulous posts. We finally arrived home from Walt Disney World yesterday (a day late after being stuck on the Orlando Airport runway for 4 1/2 hrs and then spending the night with the kids on the Detroit Airport floor ...). I'm catching up on emails, loads and loads of laundry and am trying to get some miles in again after having sore legs and feet from walking around at the Disney parks for six days ... and oh yeah, I ran a half marathon while I was there!!
I had my first bloggy meet up planned with many of you and I see that a few of you were able to meet up. Unfortunately ... it was friggin' freezing and I was huddled up with the family next to a generator from 3:30-4:45 AM, took 3 trips to the port-o-potties, and then the announcer started telling people to head to their corrals about 20-30 mins early!!! Nicole was able to find me after coming out of a port-o-potty and recognized me in my leopard print Bondi Band!!
Race report coming soon, I didn't PR (go sub 1:56), but did meet my second goal of going sub 2:00. 1:58:34.
