  1. Flat course in Prairie du Chien? :) That sounds awesome. I bet it'll be gorgeous! I just had to smile because I've done races in Davenport, IA and Hannibal, MO, both Mississippi River towns, and they really make you work those bluffs!

  3. If this is somewhere on your blog, please forgive me and point me in the direction... if not....
How did you get started running and how did you build up to half and full marathons? I run, recreationally... I can't seem to move out of the 3-4 mile zone. I would love to push myself to a half marathon... help!

  6. I've done Prairie Du Chien the past two years, but this year decided to change it up. (DOH!!)

The course IS pretty flat...there's one main hill which is where the road goes up and over railroad tracks....there's a turn around at the bottom. Most of the course is pretty boring, unfortunately, but I've gotten to know the race director pretty well and she's an AWESOME lady!

    Good luck!!
