A couple of months ago, Michele contacted me again and alerted me that her new book, Girls Sweat! ... and that's sweet! would be released soon. I received my copy soon after.

Girls Sweat! is great for women, mothers and their daughters. Through the book, a runner learns about mental toughness, strength and happiness through her heart and "soles". Michele dedicates this book to "girls and women who dream, sweat and achieve".
The book has beautiful, simple messages throughout. The messages and quotes touch on girl power, balance, goal-setting, visualizing ... and so much more. The book has motivational pictures and a look at women running, training and achieving their goals.
As I read through the book, I was ready out on my next run ... even to my treadmill for six miles, in my dreary basement with the kiddos.

ReplyDeleteVisited Michelle's site, and noticed that she has given quite a few talks at very prestigious venues-even Harvard! She sounds like a very inspirational woman, and I would love to read this book. It sounds like something I could give to my running girlfriends and turn to for motivation time and time again.
