Noodles & Co Summer Salads Review & Giveaway

I was recently contacted by Noodles & Co (HERE) to review some of their new, healthy entree items, including three yummy summer salads.  My family loves Noodles & Co.  They have a lot of good-tasting noodle dishes and salad and the price is awesome.  I love the casual dining atmosphere, especially for my family with two very active (and sometimes loud!) children.  I love that I can even stop by after a workout in my sweating runninng gear, and enjoy the summer evening out on the patio.  Just like this Wednesday evening ......

Enjoying the Spinach & Fresh Fruit Salad

The three summer salads include some tasty, fresh and affordable options:

Chili-Lime & Ginger Salad with Seared Chicken (HERE)
Mixed spring greens in sweet chili-lime ginger dressing with hand-cut mint, peanuts, crunchy wonton strips, rice noodles and seared chicken

Backyard BBQ Chicken Salad (HERE)
Pulled chicken breast with fresh-cut corn, roma tomatoes and red cabbage over mixed greens with a smoky coleslaw dressing

Spinach & Fresh Fruit Salad (HERE)
Strawberries, pecans, bacon and blue cheese over spinach with balsamic fig drizzle

I tried the Spinach & Fresh Fruit Salad.  J tried the Backyard BBQ Chicken Salad.  Both extremely different.  I opted not to add protein to my salad, though should have.  The salad was super tasty, but I did leave the restaurant hungry.  I am a big eater (which is why I run!) and think I needed some chicken to leave me full this time.  It was absolutely delicious thought.  The mixture of pecans, bacon and blue cheese crumbles, mixed in with fresh fruit was refreshing.  I loved it and would order it again.  But again, would add the protein.  J liked the Backyard BBQ Chicken Salad, but again, was still hungry.  He thought his tasted good, and said it wasn't spicy.

At $7.75, these are really affordable, compared to sit down restaurants.  And, you don't need to tip.  I just wish we would have left with fuller tummies.

Did you know that Noodles & Co has been ranked as one of the top 4 healthiest fast food restaurants by Health Magazine the past two years?   Noodles serves made-to-order noodles, salads and sandwiches inspired from around the world (with Asian, Mediterranean, American flavors). Noodles also offers 19 fresh veggie options.
