Bib Stickers Review & Giveaway

So, have you heard of these fancy-dancy Bib Stickers (HERE) yet???

- DO YOU SAVE YOUR ROAD RACE BIBS? - CHECK
- DO YOU WANT TO REMEMBER WHICH BIB YOU WORE AT WHICH RACE? - CHECK
- DO YOU WANT YOUR RACE TIMES RECORDED ACCURATELY? - CHECK
- DO YOU WANT TO REMEMBER WHERE YOU PLACED? - CHECK
- DO WANT TO RECALL THE REASONS A RACE WENT WELL OR NOT? - CHECK
- DO YOU WANT TO HAVE AN ORGANIZED PLACE TO RECORD YOUR FOND MEMORIES OF EACH RACE EVENT? - AND, CHECK
The "No Fibber Bib Sticker" makes recording those important race day stats easy and fun! It is a quality-built, die-cut label where you will record all of those pertinent race day memories that are too valuable to ever forget. The "No Fibber Bib Sticker" adheres directly to your bib after your race to permanently imprint that irreplaceable personal information, transforming each of your bibs into a collectable piece of your racing history.

You can purchase a pack of of Fibber! Bib Stickers online (HERE).  Ten individual 4x6 stickers sell for $11.99.

You can now make sure you remember all your special race days forever, by accurately organizing all those race stats on the fun, effective "No Fibber" Bib Sticker that sticks right to your bibs.  Make bib collecting fun by recording your stats in the same, organized fashion race after memorable race!

I keep all of my race bibs and organize them on a bulletin board.  I designate one safety pin bunch per year.  Sometimes I record my times on the back and sometimes I don't.  I wish I would've started this process back in 2005.  I record some of that information the RDM website and various scraps of paper or electronic files that I started at some point (but never kept up to date).  There is no way I could recall the dozens and dozens .... and dozens of races I've finished.  This would have been an easy way to keep track of everything - from the very beginning.  I could record the good .... and the bad.  What a great way to reflect on your accomplishments and see where you went wrong (a good way to learn about yourself and your training).

Don't forget to also check out the "FLAUNT-A-MANTRA" STICKERS:

When on the last mile of a road race (and sometimes on the first mile) we runners often turn to a saying, chant or mantra to provide encouragement to propel us along the course.
You can now, keep that mantra close to heart (literally) with "Flaunt-A-Mantra" Stickers. These words of energy stick right to the front of your bib without interfering with any timing devices and support you all the way to the finish line!
You can purchase ten "Flaunt-A-Mantra" Bib Stickers fonly or only $8.99.

Biggest Loser Run/Walk Race Series FREE RACE ENTRY Giveaway

I am so thrilled to be participating in the Biggest Loser Run/Walk Race Series (HERE)!  I will be a race ambassador for the September 22 half marathon event in Racine, Wisconsin.  I love running races near the beautiful Lake Michigan lakefront in Racine.  I'm sure that this race will be a wonderful, non-competitive atmostphere for all abilities and the route should be enjoyable, too.  I'm a big fan of The Biggest Loser and look forward to being apart of their motivating, fun-filled event.  They have several Get Fit, Get Ready and Premier Destination events.  The Biggest Loser is also offering trail racing events (information available on their website).

The Biggest Loser RunWalk is a non-intimidating race series designed to challenge America to get fit. You’ve been inspired by the hit reality show “The Biggest Loser,” now it’s time to get off the couch and hit the pavement and achieve your fitness goals. Dan & Jackie Evans

Since losing a combined 225 pounds, Dan and Jackie have been canvassing the country and keeping the weight off through nutrition and running.

In 2011, Dan and Jackie ran over 20 half marathons while promoting the benefits of exercise and healthy eating habits. Along the way, they have shared their stories with thousands with the hope of inspiring others to embrace a healthier lifestyle.

As the National Spokespeople for The Biggest Loser RunWalk, they continue to share their story and challenge all Americans to get fit and stay healthy.

Honest Kids Pouches by Honest Tea Review & Giveaway

The Little Dude and I were able to try out the Honest Kids Pouches (HERE) from Honest Tea.  This kids loves  juiceboxes, but I try to limit his juice intake.  He loves juice boxes and juice pouches.  Though, I find the pouches to be more messy, as they are squeezable.

Honest Tea is excited to introduce Honest Kids in a new "fruit-juice sweetened" formulation. All five varieties have been updated by removing the organic cane sugar and increasing the juice content - now between 30-42% depending on variety.

We not only had fun trying the juice pouches, we had fun reading the names:
Goodness Grapeness - his favorite!
Berry Berry Good Lemonade
Super Fruit Punch
Tropical Tango Punch
Appley Ever After

Little Dude had no complaints about them and I really liked the Super Fruit Punch - it even has a hint of watermelon.  The pouches are around 40 calories each - not bad for the kiddos - or mom!

Kidz Bop 23 Review & Giveaway

Well, Little Diva is at it again ... reviewing the latest CD from Kidz Bop (HERE).  This time it is Kidz Bop 23 - the latest selection of hot tunes - sang by kids, for kids.

Kidz Bop 23 (HERE) has been played A A LOT lately by both Litle Diva and Little Dude.  There have been a lot of rocked-out song and dance performances in our basement lately.  The microphones have been out, improptu stages have been set-up and the tunes have been blaring loudly. The kids both really love this one - and secretly, so does mom!

She really likes "We are never getting back together" and "Good time".  Over and over and over and over ..... !!

He is enjoying tearing it up to "Diamonds" and "Some Nights".

All of the tunes below are current, fun and totally "safe" - as the songs are all edited and sung by children.  Perfect for at home, the playroom or the carpool!!

A familiar face.

If you are browsing your current issue of Women's Running Magazine (HERE), you might just spot a familiar face on page 16 .... me! ....

After I was featured as a Blogger on the Run on Women's Running Magazine's website last fall, they asked if they could feature me in the March 2013 issue.  Heck yeah!  You can catch my little blurb in the Social Life section of this month's installment.

Here's your chance to connect with all sorts of other networking runners via their personal blogs, Facebook, Twitter and more! ...

AYG Underwear Review & Giveaway

AYG Underwear (HERE) contacted me awhile back to test out some of their line.  I had never heard of them and usually just use the briefs and built in tops of my running shorts, skirts and tanks.  So, I thought I would give this a try and see what's up.  With winter weather approaching, I knew that I would be layering with running tights and several layers.  This would be a great time to test these out.

AYG Underwear sells both mens and womens underwear, tops, running tights, accessories and more.

I know that a lot of my couch to 5K clients complain about underwear riding down while they run and are on the move.  Many aren't ready to try the running shorts and skirts that have built-in briefs.  As much as I do try to convince them!  These are a great option for folks not ready to dive-in.

Performance Cotton Underwear and Shirts
  • New, proprietary XTRdry™ performance Cotton (96% cotton, 4% spandex)
  • Soft and breathable, just like cotton, because it is
  • Quick-dry, reduced cling, moisture wicking.
  • Available in various styles and colors of tops and bottom for men and women
  • Great for running, hiking, gym, yoga or as an everyday item.
  • 100% Made in USA
  • MSRP $19.95-$31.95
AYG underwear also available in 4-Way Stretch and Tech Silk fabrics that also move with the body and breathe freely. AYG women's bottoms all feature Acclimate® Dry cotton crotch panel that reduces bacteria that can cause UTI's and feminine irritation.

I tried the Boyshort and the Scoop Performance Silk Tech Top.  The top was super soft and super light.  Definitely for the warmer months.   The women's fit (size medium) fit perfectly.  I really loved the long length of the top as it covered my tummy, even when I raised my arms during a workout.

I wore the underwear with running tights.  They worked out great and didn't shift or move. I didn't like the boyshort for running, but it may work well for other low-impact activities and workouts.
