Five Miles is Tiring for Both of Us

I'm never quite sure if I should feel like a good mama or a bad mama when this happens. Little Dude enjoys our runs in the Little Red Car sooo much that he gets super relaxed and falls asleep 99.9% of the time. Unfortunately, there is no place for his head to rest and his head bobs to the left, to the right and up and down. It does help me get in my speed work, though. Because, I try to rush home frantically, after he zonks out.

  3. Oh my gosh - too cute - The best part is he won't have a sore neck - unlike me - my neck hurts just looking at him. ;-)

  5. I think it's a great thing that he falls asleep. Shows that he really does like to get out there, get worn out and then just sleep....Oh to be a kid :)!

Maybe he needs one of those neck pillows to hold his head up while he sleeps.

  9. I think their necks are made of rubber when they are young. I wish LBM still fell asleep! I need a 16-point harness to keep him still!

  13. Very cute!! My son does the same thing. How is pushing the little red car? I was thinking of doing that but didn't now if I should but now after seeing your photo I think I will try it at least for the shorter runs.... Love your post!!

  14. So cute! I would certainly attempt the jogging stroller, but I don't doubt that he loves the runs in part because of the red car!

  15. Hi, just found your great blog. I'm more of a "walk and survive the day like a mother" type right now but I'm hoping to change all that soon. I have older kids so they won't be running with me yet, they are far too big for a stroller...but my workout would be great :)
